Family Takes Out INTHEMIX Again!

Sore heads reigned supreme in our offices this morning, after Family took out three highly coveted awards in 2009's InTheMix Top 50.

2009 was the biggest Sony inthemix50 to date, with 33,000 people voting to decide on Australia's biggest, best and brighest dance music stars.

Family took home a swag of awards... Family’s golden boy of trance Tydi took out #1 prize for the second year in a row. Friday @ Family claimed back QLD's No. 1 club night for the fourth year, while Saturday @ Family took QLD's No.2 club night - landing Family the double whammy!

Congrats to everyone involved this year. We couldnt be more proud of everyone's achievements.

The SHIT - Harvard Yard

The mecca of academia is about to drop a menswear line. “Harvard Yard is a collaboration between Harvard University and private label tailored clothing manufacturer Wearwolf Group, which has licensed the name from the school to produce a contemporary men’s wear collection based on classic Ivy League style.
We can't wait to see what UQ, QUT and Griffith spruik as their style.

"What stands out most about this year’s Stereosonic lineup is the ‘now’ factor. While it’s toplined by Deadmau5, a favourite with Australian audiences who’s arguably the most successful DJ/producer working in dance music today, alongside rock-solid names in house like Axwell, Fedde Le Grand and John Dahlback, the lineup is just as much defined by acts like Bloody Beetroots, The Crookers and Surkin who represent the new wave of electronica dominating the clubs in 2009.Joined by a posse of underground acts that includes Miss Kittin & The Hacker, the DFA label’s Tim Sweeney, Umek and more, it’s a selection of artists that keeps the focus firmly on the latest and greatest in global club music." - InTheMix
